Playland Equestrian Center, a premier dressage and eventing barn in Frederick County, Maryland has a current opening for a long-term groom position with room to grow as a team. Lovely facility that has tons of potential for growth. Looking for the right person to grow with the farm long- term. Possibility of traveling south for the winter. Position comes with shared living quarters, board for one horse, and lessons. Person must have excellent communication skills, be people-oriented, organization skills, time efficiency, be detail orientated, and have a strong work ethic. Duties include daily horse care, supervising the working students, and client relations around the barn. The ideal candidate has experience grooming at FEI level horse trials. The job is for 6 days a week. Salary will be based on experience. Serious inquiries only. Looking for a long term commitment with a minimum of 6 months.
