Good morning,
We hope that everyone had a nice holiday weekend and was able to enjoy it! First off, we have to congratulate Sofia Tamayo on her successful debut in BN at the recognized level this past weekend at the Seneca Valley Pony Club Horse Trials. While her dressage score didn't accurately reflect the quality of her test she truly had her best dressage test to-date and had clean jumping rounds. She and PL Contessa finished 5th in the Beginner Novice Junior 1 division. Way to go!
Also, Glenda great day competing at Seneca after taking the summer off. She competed PL Irish Pearl in the Novice Horse division to get started back into running around competitions again. Glenda tells us that she was her fantastic usual self and put in a respectable 35.0 dressage score, had one rail in stadium and a few time penalties on cross-country from going a little *too* fast...oops! Glenda is excited to take her back out again for The Maryland Horse Trials this upcoming weekend.
Ashley Redman & PL Irish Queen (aka "Queenie") will also be competing this weekend at the Maryland Horse Trials in the Junior Elementary Division. Sending good luck to her and Queenie for a great competition!
Stay tuned next week for results & training horse updates!
