New Staff Bios & Congratulations!

Good Morning,

In case you missed our posts on the Facebook page last week, we wanted to formally introduce you to our two newest staff members!

Katie R.
Katie is from Chicago, Illinois and moved to Maryland this past May to join the Playland Team. Katie grew up riding horses of all varieties & disciplines, but has found her true love in dressage and eventing. Katie also brought her mare with her to the farm! Ebony is a 12-year-old OTTB who is here with Katie to further her education and begin lower-level eventing. We are so thrilled to have these two lovely ladies at Playland! Be sure to say hello next time you see her!

Airynn S.
Airynn comes to us locally and has been riding horses since she was 5-years-old. She has competed show hunters in Ireland, ridden Mongolian ponies in Korea, trekked through Iceland, and worked with Thoroughbreds in Argentina. Airynn has spent the past four years conditioning and managing the fox hunters for the Greenspring Valley Hounds. We are so excited to have Airynn and her vast knowledge at the farm! Be sure to say hello next time you see her!

We also want to say congratulations to Louisa Woodville with Empress (formerly PL Lucky Empress) for their 14th place finish in the Open  Novice-A division at The Maryland Summer #1 Horse Trials this past weekend.
